Dr. Wöhrle received his B.A. in Germany and completed a four-year certified dental technician program in Switzerland. Subsequently, Dr. Wöhrle entered Harvard University, where he received his DMD degree "cum laude". While at Harvard, he completed the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodotics followed by the Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Wöhrle also holds a Masters of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology from Harvard.
Dr. Wöhrle's practice in Newport Beach, California is limited to Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the European Academy of Osseointegration (EAO), the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED). Dr. Wöhrle is one of the few dentists worldwide with formal training in the interrelated areas of implant surgery, implant prosthodontics and implant laboratory technology.
